Many parents consider traveling with children of school age not only the easiest but also the most fun. School-age children showed more interest in their surroundings and old enough to remember the trip.

There is no reason why even if traveling with children is not as fun traveling with children of school age. Teenagers can be a very good travel companion because they are mentally and physically as fit as their parents, if it does not fit.
